I HAD some passion for HIPHOP

As a teenager, i dreamt of being a rap artist. Even though I wasn't that serious, i pictured myself raping on some hiphop club stage.

this rap was revolutionary.(to me)
you need to read the lyrics how much anger there was in the song.
here we go.

Hit 'em up (TUPAC)

do you see what i mean? I would never make my kids listen to this.
but it gave me really BIG catharsis. and i just fell into the rap world.

till mid 90's rappers in korea weren't really rapping. they were more like DJs who do the skits and rap few lines middle of dance songs.
but the FIRST real rap album was released in 1996.

Jinpyo KIM

few years later, suddenly a korean rap group called 'Drunken Tiger' came out.
their rap was a bit out of date(now, it's way out of date), it had gangster style and all.
watch their first hit song

some great rappers appeared afterwards but somehow i lost my interest in HIPHOP.
maybe i wasn't angry at the world anymore(don't take it wrong! my anger was so trivial, like 'I don't like the way my teachers talk')

sometimes passion comes.
it sometimes stay for a while.
it can also vanish without realising it.
